Wearing the appropriate makeup is as important as choosing the right outfit. When applying makeup, select colors that are in harmony with your skin color.
For evening makeup and special occasions, you can be more dramatic by adding darker shades and maybe some glitter and sparkle to your palette.

General Tips:

  • Know your brushes; each brush is created to serve a particular job.
  • Apply makeup on a cleansed, toned face. Do not forget to use moisturizer before applying any makeup product. The moisturizer protects the skin and prevents it from dryness and peeling.
  • Before selecting your foundation, apply some along your jaw line and blend, the color should match your skin color.
  • Loose powder is important to set the foundation into the skin. Apply it using a powder puff or simply using a powder brush.
  • Always start with small amount of blush along your cheekbones and blend, if more color is needed add some more to build up the desired look.
  • For a long lasting eye shadow, apply a mat base (light color) eye shadow all over the eyelid before applying the other colors.
  • Do not forget cleaning and shading your eyebrows as makeup can cover them.
  • To ensure a long lasting lipstick, apply lip pencil on the entire lip area and blend with a clean lip brush before applying lipstick.
  • Makeup may fade out so keep handy the pressed powder and lipstick for touch ups.
